This country cottage is located in the Pazo de Viaxe, in a quiet valley between Pontedeume and Miño, very close to the beaches and monuments of these towns and also very close to the highway exit. The pazos are tipical buildings of the aristocracy in Galician rural areas, very similar to the English Manors. The house is surrounded by a large estate with gardens, meadows and a small forest to the River Baxoi. |

This house is strategically situated 7 km from the medieval town of Pontedeume, 25 min from A Coruña and 45 min from Santiago de Compostela with its international airport. The house is surrounded by 60.000 m2 of land - called Chousa do Conde - made up of pasture land and woods, which offer the possibility of complete isolation, with the Castelo de Andrade (Andrade Castle) as its nearest neighbour. The buildings that make up the house, whose oldest part dates back more than 300 years, were restored and decorated with the highest respect for harmony. However, modern elements were introduced to make the visitor's stay more comfortable such as baths and showers with integrated hydro-massage systems and latex mattresses in all the rooms. |

The history of this house goes back to the end of the 19th century, to the year 1876. The inevitable passing of time has left its mark on all of its rooms. Its old utensils and pieces of furniture have been meticulously restored for the enjoyment of its guests.
