Hostel located just a few minutes from villages and towns of interest such as Ferrol, Betanzos, Pontedeume or A Coruña, and from beaches such as those of Miño, Perbes and Cabanas. The facilities consist of several buildings within the 50,000-square-metre Alvarella estate, which includes different native species and numerous fruit trees. Among the buildings that form the hostel, it is worth highlighting a rehabilitated stone house that dates from the forties or a new building with bio-climatic characteristics that uses solar energy. The hostel includes a swimming pool, dining room, sports area, playground and extensive green spaces. It also offers a varied programme of activities such as hiking and horse-riding routes, canoeing, environmental games or learning about renewable energy sources. This hostel have 12 rooms for 4-5 people with bathroom and heating. Two of the rooms are equipped for the handicapped. There are a dinning room for 70 people, and two lounges of 90 and 70 m2 for activities and workshops

This hostel is situated 3,5 km from As Neves, 12 km from Cabanas and Pontedeume beaches and near the Fragas de O Eume and O Forgoselo mountain range. The buildings that make up the lodgings used to be two old village schools. One of them was an initiative taken by the local residents who provided stone and wood. Three stonemasons worked there for three years. The second building was erected in the 50s to be a school for girls. In the 80s they were abandoned and the Town Hall of A Capela restored them to be a hostel for tourists. As well as the rooms, there is a big lounge area with an open fireplace, a dining room, two kitchens, shower and toilet area, heating, a green area and car park. The hostel also has bicycles and two-seater quads available for those who would like to go on routes through Fraga de O Eume and O Forgoselo mountain range.
